Thanks for being curious! I am Dave Churchill- I just turned Sixty years old, Always an outsider trying to live a conventional life, after I turned 60 I embraced my differentness to become a Pirate- at-large. I lived most of my adult life on the beaches of Southern California, playing beach volleyball. As a 70's style beach bum, my finances were up and down- I had a spotty career in marketing. I was always a renter in California, so when my circumstances changed, I decided to sell everything and move into an Airstream. I've always been enriched by travel, but not just for the pretty places you see- it is the people you meet. I created this blog to allow interested parties to meet some of the fascinating people I come across on my travels. As divided as our country is led to appear these days, each of us still share common values that made us great. join me in building a community of Americans as I travel from sea to shining sea.
